Rates and Charges

The shipping rate for all products is based on shipping destination, weight and dimension. We ship all of our products via UPS worldwide or Canada Post. Please contact us for a shipping estimate or for expedited shipping.

How Orders are Processed

Standard orders will be shipped within 2-3 business days of receiving your order. We ship out custom orders as soon as possible usually within 2-5 business days. Engraved swings take an additional 5-10 business days before they are ready for shipping.

Notification of Order

We will send an email confirmation when we receive your order and a shipping notification when your order has shipped. This will include a tracking number for you to follow your swing(s) travelling from our hands to yours.

Optional Pickup

If you live in or near our location and wish to pick up your order, please specify details on the form at checkout and we will notify you when your order is available for pickup.

Delays and Missing or Lost Items

If there is a delay in the receipt of your order, please contact us. We should be able to determine the reason for the delay. If the shipping company cannot locate your package(s), we will put a trace on the package(s), define responsibility, and resolve the problem as quickly as we can. In the rare occasions in which this happens, a solution is usually determined within 24 hours.

Returns & Warranty 

All Rosedale Swing Company products are made from natural bio-degradable materials.  Due to the softwood Cedar used in all our swings, fading, scratching and denting are natural to this product.  The more you use this swing the more character it will grow. We hope your swing will grow strong characteristics due to many happy hours of pleasure swinging on our beautiful swings. Our cedar and rope products will naturally discolor and attain rich patina overtime.

As with all natural wood products there will be some slight variation in color and texture. This is mainly due to the underlying natural wood tones, which the translucent finish is applied over, creating a truly unique one of a kind swing. Products could have visible marks from tools used, knots or tiny knot holes and natural wood inclusions. As in the wild Cedar forest, over time, some natural shrinkage may accentuate existing separations or generate new ones. This does not compromise the structural performance or integrity of the wood and is considered inherent to the natural beauty of the product. These variations are not considered flaws and not acceptable reasons for returns.

All of our products are natural and handmade. Therefore sizes are just an approximation but are generally within plus or minus 1/2".

Please note: Except in those cases where a shipment was received in damaged condition, all sales are final. Customers may report damaged shipments by contacting us directly upon receipt of your order.

If your product arrives damaged, the product must be returned within three days to Rosedale Swing Company under the following conditions and instructions:

1. You must e-mail your shipping damage notification, within the three days, by contacting us stating the order number, product, and a brief message explaining damage.

2. The swing has not been used.

3. After you receive a Return Authorization number & return label  by e-mail, you will ship the product in the original packaging  back to our shipping address.

Rosedale Swing Company takes full responsibility for all shipping costs and replacements of product as a result of shipping damage. We promise to replace your damaged product as quickly as possible and re-imburse you for the shipping charges. A replacement will be shipped immediately upon receiving the damaged swing.
